1: Before the procedure the dentist conducts the initial examination and makes one or more X-ray photos of the interested area.

The final step shall be the arrangement of the permanent porcelain crown. A new tooth will serve you for the whole lifetime. There is no need to have additional treatment.

THE ALTERNATIVE TO IMPLANT SUPPORTED PORCELAIN CROWN
 | Natural teeth supported bridge denture
The traditional bridge denture assumes dissecting of the adjacent teeth to form the abutment for the bridge denture. This is a simple and long-lasting solution with good aesthetical and functional characteristics. However, it has two shortcomings as follows: permanent resorption of the bone tissue at the place of the missing tooth and injuring the healthy teeth structures to be able to fix the bridge denture.

This is a changeable option of the missing tooth replacement. It is unstable and freely- fixed denture that affects its functional characteristic and causes patient’s comfort. The partial removable denture is made of plastic a material that does not allow achieving aesthetical results similar to those achievable with the porcelain crown. However, it has certain advantages: the adjacent teeth are not damaged. It can easily be manufactured and at quite low cost.

This option has several obvious advantages as follows: it can be quickly manufactured, it is functional and provides high aesthetical result as it is made of porcelain. Apart from that, this option does not require traumatizing of the neighboring healthy teeth. Nevertheless, it is not permanent. Adhesive bridge denture is likely to be worn in a couple of years and then it has to be replaced with a new one.
